Daniel Burghart was born in 1982 in Nuremberg, Germany, and grew up in the nearby city of Fürth. He works as a teacher and writes about life, responsibility, and the influence of our origins on the people we become.
His autobiographical book „Leichtigkeit ist harte Arbeit – Herkunft ist kein Wahlfach“ is a deeply personal reflection on childhood, loss, and the long journey of finding one’s own path. In it, Burghart openly shares the story of growing up without a father and the experiences that shaped him along the way. The book combines honest personal memories with reflections on education, resilience, and the question of how we deal with the circumstances we are born into.
Alongside his work as a teacher, Daniel Burghart has been involved for many years in school projects, theatre work, and educational initiatives. Writing, for him, is a way to reflect on life and to encourage others to look at their own stories with honesty and courage.
He lives with his family in the Nuremberg metropolitan area in southern Germany.
