Karen Higgins

Karen Higgins has always loved stories, but it wasn’t until she was happily married to her high school sweetheart and homeschooling their five kids that the dream to write was born. Today she writes stories spined with faith, filled with surprises and struggles, whimsy and warmth in her cottage by the sea, accompanied by the sound of the surf and the cry of seagulls. Karen has served for a number of years as an assistant writing conference director, is the founder and teacher of a teen writing society, as well as a workshop teacher at writing conferences. Her greatest desire is to bring strength for today and hope for tomorrow to her readers.
