Anna Riedel

Anna Riedel (b. 1975) is a Poznań-based author whose work blends language, discipline, and embodied self-awareness. She earned her M.A. in English Philology from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (1999), where she wrote her thesis on the poetry of T. S. Eliot. Although she loved writing from childhood, she spent years writing privately, never drawn to “writing to a template,” always drawn to a voice of her own.

After university she built a career in sales, ultimately working as a Sales Manager. Along the way, she completed postgraduate MBA studies and pursued German language studies, a path that later enabled her to translate her own work into German.

Leaving corporate life marked a turning point: she began building a life aligned with her values, creating, writing, painting, and spending more time in nature. She also earned qualifications as a physical conditioning therapist and ran a relaxation studio focused on reconnecting body and mind. Her perspective is shaped by a simple belief: the body is not an accessory to life, it is our home, and it carries what the mind cannot always name.

She is the mother of two, currently studies Chinese, and continues to write from Poznań, Poland, often for readers who are ready to stop postponing their lives and start building change from the ground up.
