Xingrang Liu

Xingrang Liu is a senior software engineer, researcher, and author with more than thirty years of experience in software development, artificial intelligence, and industrial systems.

He received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from The University of Queensland, Australia, where his research focused on applying artificial intelligence and computational modelling to optimize complex industrial systems.

Dr. Liu has worked across both industry and academia, developing software for enterprise systems, cloud platforms, mobile applications, and intelligent data analysis systems. His work involves technologies such as AI, neural networks, and large-scale data systems.

He is also the author of “Thermal Power Plants: Modelling, Control and Efficiency Improvement” published by CRC Press. His recent writing focuses on helping readers understand artificial intelligence, its technology foundations, and its impact on industry and society.
