Alizae Kurtzig

Alizae is a 16-year-old student in San Francisco. Her visit to South Africa and Kliptown Youth Program (KYP) in 2023 sparked her interest in travel and cultural exchange. She wrote this book to inspire young readers to learn more about places different from their home. She has two cats, Winter and Pepper, who she will one day bring to South Africa so they can meet a meerkat. She hopes Daisy's story can provoke curiosity for new experiences.
