Hi. I’m Christopher Moore.
By day I’m a heavy-duty diesel technician. That means I spend my time diagnosing 80,000-pound trucks that have decided to express their feelings through smoke, noise, and catastrophic mechanical failure.
By night I write.
Turns out diagnosing machines and diagnosing society require the exact same skill set, and if you ignore the vibration long enough and the whole system eventually explodes.
I’m also the guy behind the name “Gun Loving Hippie Dad … Who Fixes Stuff.”
Yes, it’s confusing. That’s intentional.
The gun loving part annoys the left.
The hippie part annoys the right.
The dad who fixes stuff part is just accurate reporting.
I’m a Marine Corps veteran, a father, and a guy who tends to ask uncomfortable questions at very inconvenient times.
I live in Nebraska, where I spend my days turning wrenches and my nights writing about broken systems, human nature, and why common sense seems to be the rarest resource in modern America.
This is my first book.
Don’t worry… I’ve got more.
