Estevan Jesus Espejo

Estevan Espejo writes as Reflections of Mr. E from Phoenix, Arizona—where poetry becomes purpose and love becomes a practice. He writes because he wants to be the embodiment of love in its highest form: agape. His work doesn’t narrow love down to one feeling; it opens it up. Love can be everything—heartache and healing, intense romance and quiet commitment, friendships that hold you up, and the passion that pushes you forward when life gets heavy.

Raised by a single mother and proud to be a first-generation American with family roots in Chile, Estevan came up in circumstances shaped by poverty, limited exposure, and the kind of neighborhood pressure that can decide a future for you if you let it. With his father incarcerated for much of his childhood, he learned early about resilience—and later, about unlearning: breaking patterns, challenging conditioning, and trading maladaptive survival mechanisms for self-awareness, discipline, and growth.

Beyond writing, Estevan is a proud father to a daughter and son, a thinker with a builder’s spirit, and a lifelong student of self-development. When he isn’t daydreaming about how to change the world, you’ll find him reading, listening to growth-focused podcasts, or “tinkering” on cars. His biggest dream is to stop trading time for money and instead create real value—raising strong, intelligent, resilient, compassionate children and dedicating his life to community enrichment, philanthropy, and service to humanity.
