Robert Kurtz

Robert Kurtz is a veteran who spent 15 years as an international private security contractor after leaving the military. He has worked in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Jordan, Israel, the Palestinian West Bank, and Lebanon, and was in Cairo during the 2011 Arab Spring riots. Dealing with terrorist bombings, abductions, and natural and man-made disasters was all in a day's work. His experiences in Iraq were the basis for his book Mercenaries, Gunslingers, and Outlaws. A lifelong military sci-fi fan, he now brings his experience to his own military science fiction writing.
