Matt and Cheryl are travel writers who make it easy to take road trips to the national parks in the American West.

Their YouTube channel, We’re in the Rockies, has over 20 million views, and more than 24,000 travelers have used their guides to visit incredible places like Yellowstone, Glacier, Zion, and Banff. Since 2020, they’ve spent over 70 days a year on the road driving the exact routes they teach others to take.

Before becoming travel writers, Matt helped people with their Social Security and taught college history, and Cheryl spent 28 years as a special education teacher, breaking complex tasks into simple steps so everyone could succeed. Together, they love sharing the history of the parks through their audio guides and creating simple travel itineraries that anyone can follow.

When they aren’t on the road, Matt loves to play baseball and Cheryl enjoys teaching her special needs Zumba class. They were blessed with four children and love being part of their lives.
