Tey is a children’s book author who values loyalty, home and community, themes that often shape the heart of her stories. She enjoys creating warm, relatable tales that help young readers explore emotions, relationships, and the everyday moments that make family life special.

She is proud to be part of a military family, an experience that has instilled a deep appreciation for resilience, service, and staying connected through life’s changes.

Rooted in Filipino heritage and shaped by American life, Tey also draws from a blend of cultural values centered on family, warmth, and tradition. These influences are woven naturally into her stories.

Her first book introduces readers to Duke, a beloved dog whose adventures inspire the growing Duke Stories series. Many of the stories are inspired by life with their own dog, Duke and grand pup Leia, whose personalities spark the ideas behind her writing.

Tey lives in Georgia with her family and the real Duke and Leia.
