Jeremy Cavaterra

Jeremy Cavaterra is a writer, composer, and visual artist based in California. Born in New York City and raised in New England, California, and Italy, he has been making up stories since childhood, having asked for a typewriter for his tenth birthday. He has worked across a wide range of genres and was literary amanuensis to the late Jack Vance, with whom he collaborated on the Hugo Award-winning autobiography This Is Me, Jack Vance!

In addition to writing, Cavaterra is a professional classical composer and pianist whose music has been performed internationally, and he currently serves as Composer-in-Residence for The Young People’s Symphony Orchestra in the San Francisco Bay Area.
