Hi, I'm Bea
I'm a Proud Aboriginal and Māori Author, Photographer and Mother.
Born on Kaurna land, where many of my family still live, I was raised in Larrakia to respect the land as well as all the cultures and peoples who lived upon it. Now living along another coast of the continent altogether on Gundungurra Land, the life I have lived has shaped the way I think, speak and understand the world around me. As well as giving me a unique past from which I can draw on lived experiences and places while remaining culturally aware as I share my perspectives on our world of our shared past, present and future.
My first love has always been stories--true ones, fantastical ones, ones that teach you, others that entertain. All beautiful and inspiring, then came my love of words and language, how such simple things, when arranged in a particular way that flows can bring forth innumerable things. Feelings, ideas, actions and ideals, how could I not want desperately to be apart of it all?
With Borrow Me Anyway already released, Ways to Die well under production and two more books fighting it out to be written next, I can guarantee you whether it's Urban-Fantasy, Contemporary Thrillers or Political Commentary with Idealism then you're in the right place and I definitely have a story for you.
