Riz Thakur

Riz Thakur is a Mumbai-based entrepreneur who has lived through every technology wave to hit India since 1995. He launched mobile phones on the streets of Mumbai before most Indians had seen one, built India's first B2B online marketplace, and founded Chevon, a branded packaged goat meat business. He owns agricultural land and has spent three decades watching technology reshape industries from the inside.

His latest book, The AI Tsunami: Are You Next? Get Ready., co-written with Claude — Anthropic's AI — is a warning to India's 300 million workers standing in the path of AI displacement. It is the first Indian book co-authored with AI, warning about AI.
