Yolanda Bowden

Yolanda is a retired federal government professional with 34 years of service, including four years of active duty in the U.S. Army. As a military spouse for more than 20 years, she built a diverse career across the Department of the Army, the Department of Defense, the FAA, and the Defense Commissary Agency. There, she led Patron Awareness, overseeing customer programs, social media, newsletters, and veteran outreach—her favorite part of the job.

Married for 33 years, Yolanda is a proud mother of three daughters and grandmother of three. Her home is filled with love from J Coal the lionhead rabbit, Caramel Macchiato the guinea pig, and Blaze the Havanese. With a bachelor’s and master’s degree, she now focuses on giving back—uplifting children, supporting families, and advocating for those too often overlooked.
