A veteran North Carolina law enforcement officer, Anthony has served in roles ranging from high-stakes street patrol to specialized policing in healthcare environments. A Medal of Valor recipient and seasoned Field Training Officer (FTO), he brings a steady, principled approach and "boots-on-the-ground" authenticity to his fiction.

Writing as Anthony J. Dover, MPA, MS, he authored the North Carolina Law Enforcement Officers’ Guidebook to Policing in Healthcare. With an Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate and graduate degrees in Public Administration and Criminal Justice—focused on Law Enforcement Leadership—his work reflects a commitment to modern, legally sound policing.
