Stuart McNair has spent more than 25 years working in the world of travel, exploring how journeys, big and small, shape the way we see the world. But his most meaningful adventures have been closer to home, as a father to three children.

Inspired by bedtime stories, curious questions, and everyday moments of bravery, Stuart created the Poppy & Roxie series to celebrate friendship, kindness, and the courage it takes to try something new.

His stories are written for children who love gentle adventures and for the adults who read alongside them.

When he’s not working or writing, Stuart is usually planning the next journey, or listening carefully to the stories children tell without realising how wise they already are.
