Ariel Agor

Ariel Agor has spent fifteen years doing the kind of work that sounds like three different careers: strategy consulting at Deloitte and EY, operational design across regulated industries, and the quieter, harder work of figuring out what happens to human judgment when the systems get smarter than the humans.

He holds an MBA in Finance and a BA in Philosophy — a combination that turns out to be less contradictory than it sounds. The finance taught him how organizations actually make decisions. The philosophy taught him how rarely those decisions make contact with what's real.

He is the founder of Agor AI Consulting and the developer of the Cognexus Framework for human-AI integration — a methodology built on the conviction that the interesting question about artificial intelligence is not what it can do, but what it asks of us.

His first book, Remaining Subject: A Practice Architecture for Coherent Agency in the Age of Non-Human Intelligence, argues that the AI transition is not an economic disruption but an ontological one — and that navigating it requires capacities most professionals have never been asked to develop. The book draws on cognitive science, contemplative tradition, and the lived experience of working inside the phenomenon it describes.
