In addition to crafting novels of Christian suspense, Melane has been a professional copywriter since 2005, specializing in creating fundraising letters, website copy, and newsletter content for nonprofit organizations throughout the United States. In 2015, she refined her writing to include freelance ghostwriting and book editing services, including for a Christian book publishing company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. "The Portal" is her debut novel.
