Boston-based literary translator Qingliang Chen holds an MA in Chinese Literature and a PhD in Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Passionate about bridging cultures, he brings global voices—particularly from the Chinese-speaking world—to English-language readers. His published translations include The Classification of Ethnic Groups in Ancient China (Peter Lang), Asian Civilization and Asian Development (Springer), and Chinese Diplomacy and the First World War (Palgrave Macmillan). Outside of work, Qingliang enjoys quiet moments with a cup of tea and a good book.
