Cynthia Enuton, also writing as C.L. Enuton, CLE and often uses the pen name Gooberella, is an author, illustrator, and artist.
Writing as Cynthia Enuton, she is now creating a picture book collection for a veterinary hospital in California named Freddie’s Place Animal Hospital + Urgent Care. Her original paintings of the hospital's namesake, Freddie Leaf, are permanently displayed throughout the hospital.
The first of the picture book collection is titled Keeping the Ball Rolling: The Story of Freddie.
Writing as C.L. Enuton, she published a four-book fantasy dog series, including Angel in a Fur Coat, Legend of the Pink Toe, Wayward Angels, and Dolittleology. This series, also called the Fur Angel Series, was inspired by her own past pekingese dog, Xia, with the pink little toe, and real life experiences with her black beauty pekingese, Lindsey, who went to work with her on a daily basis at a residential youth facility for troubled adolescents and teens.
Gooberella is a pen name she often uses to bring her dog books and Pekingese paintings together.
Cynthia lives in Florida and is inspired every day by her Pekingese dogs of past and present.
Whether through a paintbrush or a pen, her work is a constant tribute to the bond between people and their dogs.
