Denise Oliveira

Denise Oliveira is an educator, doctoral researcher at Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a mother of two. With a Master’s in Business Administration and a passion for learning, she seeks new ways to help children thrive. As a child, she was ambidextrous, but her fifth-grade teacher discouraged her from using her left hand.

Years later, life threw her a curveball. Following a 2025 car accident that injured her right wrist, she had to rely entirely on her left hand for daily tasks. To her surprise, her muscle memory remained. This discovery accelerated her recovery and allowed her to reclaim her dual-handed abilities.

Today,Denise helps children unlock their "hidden superpowers." She creates innovative 3-in-1 multilingual bedtime stories and dual-hand coloring activities that stimulate the brain and celebrate diversity. Born in Brazil and having lived in Canada, she now resides in the U.S., writing in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. She believes that Kindness is the Universal Tongue.
