L. G. Reed

L. G. Reed's passion for writing was ignited in high school when she won a creative writing contest sponsored by The Detroit News, resulting in her story being published in Teen Magazine. Known for her dual left and right-brained thinking, Reed successfully navigated a career as an advertising executive and aerospace engineer before returning to her true calling - storytelling.

Reed has made significant strides in this field, publishing two middle-grade novels and one young adult book through her own publishing company, Keyes Canyon Press. Her non-fiction works include articles in Edible SLO Magazine and numerous pieces in the award-winning Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Magazine, as well as chapters in SWE's Women Engineering Legends books 1 and 2.

Reed has recently ventured into the cozy mystery genre, creating a series featuring a 60-something retired quality assurance executive, Rose MacGillivray, who solves murders in the picturesque wine town of Paso Robles. Reed's works are accessible through all online platforms and can be obtained by special order at bookstores.
