H.M. Holzman

I am H.M. Holzman, a science fiction and visionary fiction author based in Florida, and the founder of Cydonian Works, LLC. My love for writing began in childhood, where I first started crafting stories with a distinct science fiction, fantasy, and Twilight Zone edge. From those early, imaginative beginnings, I have spent decades honing my craft before launching my debut novel.

Driven by a fascination with ancient mysteries, Greek and Roman mythology, and Ancient Alien theories, my writing explores profound questions surrounding the Cydonia region of Mars, blending hard science with human destiny. My debut novel, Distorted Time: The Cydonia Paradox—now available—serves as the first installment in an ambitious trilogy that continues the timeline established by H.G. Wells. Expanding on this universe, I have also released Distorted Time: The Hollow Historian (Prequel Book I), with Distorted Time: Shattered Futures (Prequel Book II) arriving soon. Ultimately, my goal is to entertain the world with expansive stories rooted in time travel and the broader science fiction genre.

I remain heavily influenced by classic literature and the narrative style of The Twilight Zone, and I am a proud fan of Star Trek, Star Wars, and Doctor Who.

As a Method Writer, my ultimate objective is to bridge the gap between fiction and reality. I want to make you, the reader, deeply feel my characters' lives and truly understand exactly why they do what they do. When I am not writing, you can usually find me watching science fiction movies or listening to a blend of cinematic movie soundtracks and rock and roll.
