Stewanna Dasari

Stewanna Dasari is a mother of four boys and one angel baby who believes love never leaves.

Inspired by her family’s story, she wrote Angel Brother to help children process grief with hope, honesty, and warmth. Through The Brothers’ Light Series, she creates multicultural stories that celebrate remembrance, resilience, and the beauty of growing up between cultures. Her work reflects the lived experience of a military family rooted in New Orleans and Visakhapatnam, India, honoring both Black and Indian heritage, identity, belonging, and legacy.

Beyond children’s literature, Stewanna also writes about leadership, advocacy, and truth through her forthcoming book Litigation with Heart.
