B. Marco Guarneri

B. Marco Guarneri is an Italian writer and essayist. Born in Sicily in 1990, his work explores consciousness, identity, attention, memory, symbolism, and human nature, moving between nonfiction and literary fiction.

His writing emerges from the intersection of lived experience, observation of the contemporary world, interdisciplinary research, and symbolic imagination. His work brings together psychology, philosophy, neuroscience, communication, and the analysis of contemporary systems to examine the relationship between the individual, the environment, and society.

In 2026, he published *Il Giardino Invisibile – Come coltivare la coscienza nell’epoca della dispersione*, a symbolic and interdisciplinary essay in which personal experience, research, and narrative imagery come together to explore the formation of identity, the forces that shape it, and the possibility of discovering one’s own direction. The same year, the book was also published in Spanish as *El Jardín Invisible – Cómo cultivar la conciencia en tiempos de dispersión*.

From this first book, a broader literary world began to take shape. The Garden, the Desert, the Acorn, the Bonsai, Camminava, and the Wayfarer belong to an evolving universe in which themes, images, characters, and symbols can move across different works. The exploration that began in the essay thus continues through fiction.

Guarneri sees writing as a space for exploring human experience. Nonfiction and fiction become different languages within the same creative journey, in which consciousness, identity, memory, destiny, and the individual’s relationship with the contemporary world are continually examined through ideas, characters, and symbols.

He lives and writes in Sicily.
