Omar Albeshr

Omar AlBeshr is an Emirati poet and author based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Writing in both Arabic and English, his work explores themes of love, healing, identity, and the human experience. His debut book, Taintlessness, was published by Sail Publishing in 2020 — a collection of poetry that navigates complex emotional landscapes with clarity and grace. He also contributed to Fields of Poetry, a collaborative anthology featuring diverse voices from across the UAE. Between 2015 and 2020, Omar published 11 articles in Sail Magazine covering language, science, psychology, and culture. His writing bridges Arabic and English literary traditions, contributing a contemporary Gulf voice to global literary conversations. In 2023, he was featured on Emarat TV's "Morning of the Emirates" discussing poetry and reading.
