Jonathan Hudson was born in 1990 in St. Charles, Missouri. He graduated from high school in 2009 and went on to complete his Bible college training in 2014. He has spent his adult life serving in local church ministry, with a particular burden for helping others grow in both their walk with the Lord and their ability to serve effectively in the church.
Jonathan is the founder of Church Pianist Academy, where he teaches practical, church-ready piano skills designed to help pianists move beyond basic hymn playing into confident, full congregational accompaniment. His teaching emphasizes simplicity, clarity, and immediate application—equipping pianists to sit down at the piano and serve their church with confidence.
Through his books, videos, and teaching resources, Jonathan focuses on bridging the gap between traditional hymnbook playing and a more full, supportive style that strengthens congregational singing. His materials are built with the local church in mind, helping pianists develop skills they can use week after week.
He continues to serve in ministry while creating resources that aim to strengthen churches by equipping faithful musicians.
