Jesse Glass is an American poet, novelist, artist, dramatist, and short story writer. He is the author of The Passion of Phineas Gage, & Selected Poems, Lost Poet; Four Plays, Black Out In My Left Eye; Two; and most recently Pentimenti, a collection of poetry, texts, and visuals. Glass's work can be found online at Penn Sound, a site supported by the University of Pennsylvania Literature and Writing Departments, and Ubu-Web, an important collection of avant-garde performances and documentation. Glass's work has been featured in Visiting Walt, an anthology of poems related to Walt Whitman, and Poetics of Cognition, both from the University of Iowa Press. Tate Britain has 27 of Glass' Artist Books in its collection. Special Collections at the University of Maryland, College Park, maintains Glass' literary archives and his writings on Maryland history and folklore.
