Paul F. D. Wright

Paul Wright is a UK-based children's author and lifelong dog lover.

His debut book, Lottie and the Long Way Home, was inspired by a real-life adventurous little dog and belief in second chances, resilience and finding where you belong.

Coming to writing latter in life, Paul set out to create a warm, gentle story that children and families could enjoy together. What began as a personal creative project has since grown into the first of what he hopes will become many Lottie adventures.

When he is not writing, Paul enjoys spending time with his family and his grandsons, whose curiosity, energy and sense of adventure continue to inspire new story ideas - and of course Lottie.
