I’m Stuart Kenny, a dark fantasy author from Shropshire, UK.

After years of starting books that never quite made it to “The End,” I finally discovered the secret wasn’t forcing a plot — it was creating a character I couldn’t walk away from. That character began life as a Dungeons & Dragons backstory I built with my wife for a workplace campaign. It was meant to be fun. It accidentally became a saga.

What started as one novel quickly grew into a planned four-book series. Two books are complete, the third is in development, and the world continues to expand in ways I never expected — which is both exciting and mildly concerning.

When I’m not writing about fractured faith, reluctant heroes, and the cost of power, you’ll likely find me swimming, hosting competitive game nights, or designing quizzes with my wife (we take them far too seriously). I’m also a lifelong animal lover and share my home with Sky, our loyal Staffy, who firmly believes she is the true hero of the household.

One day, I hope to trade the English countryside for the vast landscapes of Canada. Until then, I’ll keep building worlds — and occasionally rolling dice that change everything.
