Ross Cameron

Ross Cameron is a writer who never got over the enormity of what he thought on seeing the words in his head appearing on plain white A4 paper on a Brother typewriter at the age of seven, on his mothers typewriter that he borrowed and never actually ever handed back. He started cataloguing team sheets of his football team, Leeds United every week, before at eight starting to write poetry which in his adolescence became more aggressive and personal to air his emotions. At fourteen he progressed to a Smith-Corona electric typewriter, learning to touch type under a tea towel, touch typing being his only real ability other than that of creating detailed situations involving contrasting characters in burgeoning or troubled relationships which he has done since the age of fifteen, assisted by glamour, boudoir and erotic photographs which has interested him by the likes of Reinfried Marass, Helmut Newton and Annie Liebovitz. He wrote about cars and was published in the likes of 'Autocar' several times as well as working for individuals to find car histories and data. In 2022, he became disenchanted with proving every word that he wrote and finished his first novel, 'The Unwanted Gifts' under the pen name Michael Fording which was an idealogical book about consent being the epicentre of all relationships especially in alternative relationships. This book went out of print in September 2025 when he finished writing his first novel to be published under his own name, 'There's No Accounting For Murder' which is a murder-mystery in his signature style, that of relationships, that appear almost daily in his poetically rhyming long length stories on his Face Book Page, with his philosophical poems.
