Shaun Nelms

Shaun Nelms is a lifelong motocross enthusiast whose passion for riding started on an ’81 Yzinger and grew through bikes like the XR200, RM250, YZ450F, Gas Gas TXT 280, and now a 2018 RMZ450. He owns and maintains his personal track, Nelmgerian MX, on his property in Crossville, where he trains and rides with family and friends.

A devoted Supercross fan and family man, Shaun believes motocross builds confidence, resilience, and character. After recognizing a gap in the children’s book market for motocross-themed stories, he set out to change that. His mission is to inspire the next generation of riders and show kids that motocross is for everyone—on and off the track.
