Charel D. du Toit

Dr. Charel du Toit is dedicated to bringing marginalized biblical figures out of the shadows. A South African scholar now based out of the USA, he completed his PhD at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2025.

Through his work he champions an "Unhiding Reading" of scripture—a fresh approach to the parables that centers the often-overlooked presence of women. He is the author of Unhiding the Women of the Parables and contributes regularly to international academic journals. Passionate about community impact, he dedicates a percentage of his book proceeds to the Life Abundant fund and the Centre for Faith and Community.
