Lucian Vex

Lucian Vex is the phantom of the Swiss literary scene. Born in the mist-shrouded alleys of Basel and raised in the isolation of a forgotten mountain village in Graubünden, he developed an early instinct for the cracks within the seemingly perfect Swiss idyll. Today, he lives a reclusive life on the shores of Lake Lucerne, where he reportedly investigates the criminal truths hidden behind ancient Alpine legends.

His crime series and "Abstruse Stories" delve deep into the dark corners of the Confederation: from murderous secrets behind the geranium boxes of rural villages to the surreal depths of Zurich's high society. Vex weaves razor-sharp logic with the absurd, publishing his work in both English and German to capture the universal nature of the bizarre. He remains a keen observer of a world where horror lurks where least expected. His credo: “In Switzerland, blood is thicker than chocolate, and the secrets are deeper than our lakes.”
