A.D. Tompkins is a Midwest author who writes psychological thrillers inspired by the real pressures of leadership. Her debut novel, Her Breaking Point, grew out of late evening writing sessions squeezed between parenting teens, running a credit union, and pursuing her MBA.

She lives in South Dakota with her husband and two daughters, and she's passionate about storytelling, leadership, and empowering women to trust their instincts that often whisper before they shout.
