James Inverne

James Inverne is an award-winning author, playwright and arts journalist (formerly the Editor of Gramophone Magazine; Performing Arts Correspondent for TIME Magazine, columnist for The Jewish Chronicle, and arts reporter/critic for the Sunday Telegraph, Mail On Sunday, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, CNN and UK Metro). His plays include "A Walk With Mr Heifetz" (Primary Stages, Off-Broadway and "That Bastard, Puccini!" (Park Theatre, London). Screenplays include "Renee Fleming's Cities That Sing: Paris" and "Renee Fleming's Cities That Sing: Venice", both for IMAX Entertainment, and "Bryn Terfel: Songs Of The Sea" (premiered on Sky Arts). He is the co-founder of a UK interfaith non-profit, Interact. He saw his first opera aged five and disgraced himself by voicing his opinions loudly from the stalls.
