Elisabeth Lefebvre

Dr. Elisabeth E. Lefebvre is an Associate Professor at Bethel University. Before graduate school, Elisabeth taught in Louisiana and Morocco. She subsequently earned an M.A. in Global Studies at the University of Oregon, and a Ph.D. in Comparative and International Education at the University of Minnesota. Elisabeth’s research focuses on the relationship between schooling, history, and culture. She has published in Teachers College Record, Comparative Education Review, Journal of Education Policy, and elsewhere. She has also written about education, justice, and community for periodicals including Mockingbird and Reformed Journal. Elisabeth lives in Minnesota with her husband and two children, and enjoys long walks in the woods and a good cup of coffee.
