Belladonna Cross

Belladonna Cross writes stories to make this world a little kinder and funnier. Lucifer is not happy about it.

Her Hopepunk is dark enough to be honest and funny enough to survive.

In her series "Unholy Kisses," myth meets the mundane: demons have opinions on recycling, goddesses turn up unannounced in birch groves, and Hell is a flatshare with coffee problems. Carnival is an institution. Aunties are important. No damsels in distress, no decorative darknes, just love as a force field.

Belladonna Cross lives in the Rhineland, where Romans, Celts, and Spaniards left their marks and history doesn't end in a museum but carries on in everyday life.

Right where reality and myth touch, that's where her stories begin.
