Dina M. Hardt

For 25 years, Dina M. Hardt has balanced her roles as an elementary school teacher and a mother, all while remaining dedicated to helping every child believe in their own potential. Driven by a lifelong passion for inspiring young minds, she continues to fulfill her dream of writing meaningful children’s stories.

Dina draws inspiration from experiences with her students as well as from quiet moments found outside the classroom. Her debut picture book, Catch of the Day, shows young readers that a great story can grow from a single, real-life experience. Through her work, she encourages aspiring young writers to look at the world around them as a boundless source of storytelling.

When she isn’t writing or teaching, Dina treasures time spent with her husband and two children. She also finds peace and joy in taking long walks along the sandy shores of the beach.
