Jiang Pu, Ph.D., is a first-generation Chinese American poet, author, editor and translator of many textbooks, literature and children's books.
An advocate and practitioner of whole-child education and real-world learning, she brings a deeply human-centered approach as the founder of NextGen Education and a founding member of National Book Club for Kids. She has worked as an international consultant for the Vietnam Ministry of Education & Training and the United Nations’ World Bank. She created the AAPI Biography project, which led to the world's first student-made AAPI Biography online library. Currently, she works at the intersection of education, psychology and spirituality for responsible AI, inner authority and collective awakening.
She grows a bee & butterfly garden in the San Francisco Bay Area; and performs Latin-inspired dance at local community and cultural events. Her first name means "a big river".
