Greta Derot

"I write to give a name to what we glimpse between the folds of everyday life, in every language the heart knows how to speak."

Greta Derot is an explorer of possible worlds and silent emotions. Her writing is born from a curiosity for the unknown and the conviction that every story is a bridge stretched between the reality we inhabit and the dreams we haven’t yet dared to dream.

As a bilingual author, Greta weaves her narratives seamlessly in both Italian and English, believing that each language offers unique textures to describe the human soul. She defies boundaries: whether delving into high-tech futures, the dusty paths of memory, or the secrets hidden just around the corner, she always seeks the human spark that makes every journey worth telling.

Her books are invitations to pause, to look beneath the surface, and to rediscover the beauty of the unexpected. She lives between the pages of her stories and the earth beneath her feet, convinced that an author's role is not to provide answers, but to learn how to ask the right questions, one word at a time.

Stay tuned. The next journey has only just begun.
