Kimberley Kates is a multi-award-winning producer, writer, and actress with a lifelong passion for storytelling. She is the founder and CEO of Los Angeles-based Big Screen Entertainment Group, where she oversees the creation and development of films and television series from concept to screen.
As an actress, she has appeared in over 60 films and television series, including Seinfeld, The Larry Sanders Show, Charmed, Murder, She Wrote, Blue Valley Songbird where she starred with Dolly Parton and the cult classic Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, playing Princess Elizabeth, where she made her screen debut alongside Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter, Diane Franklin, and George Carlin. She later transitioned behind the camera, producing films that have screened at Sundance and earned international recognition.
Kimberley’s producing credits include Dirty Love, Babysitter Wanted, Forget About It, Mosquito Man, William Shatner’s Gonzo Ballet,The Mirror, Singularity Principle and Air Strike. As a writer and creator, she has developed multiple original television series, including Avenger Field, Earth Angels, Shadow Kats, Dead End Dating, Black Magic, and The Encounter.
