Alexandre Egorov

Alexander Egorov is an artist and author of philosophical fairy tales, where simple images become a way to speak about complex inner states. He received both engineering and artistic education in Leningrad, which early on shaped his interest in the dialogue between precise thinking and intuitive visual perception. Over time, however, it became clear that neither logic nor form alone could answer the essential human question: how to live consciously without losing a sense of meaning.

His life unfolded not as a linear biography, but as a series of inner transitions — from rational thinking to attention, from form to lived experience. Egorov worked as a painter, animator, and designer, created the first Russian Tarot deck, and collaborated with publishers across Europe. In 2001, he emigrated to Switzerland, where he continued his creative work, combining family life, art, and reflection on the nature of perception.

His philosophical fairy tales are addressed to “grown-up children” — those who have retained the ability to listen, to wonder, and to ask questions. These stories do not offer moral lessons; instead, fear, doubt, trust, and joy unfold through gentle imagery and rhythm, creating a space for inner dialogue and attentive presence.
