Amelia J. Bloom

Hi, I’m Amelia J. Bloom. I’m a certified elementary teacher who has worked with children from Kindergarten through primary grades, and I’ve seen how much confidence grows when kids are guided with patience, structure, and encouragement.

Drawing has always been part of my life, so creating this book was my way of bringing together the best of both worlds: thoughtful teaching and a fun, kid-friendly drawing style. The steps are intentionally small and clear—starting with simple shapes—so kids can stick with it, feel successful early on, and want to keep going.

Every illustration in this book is hand-drawn, one by one, with care and intention. I wanted these pages to feel like a gentle teacher right beside your child—so they’re not just copying a result; they’re learning how shapes turn into real drawings.

My hope is that your child ends each page smiling and thinking, “I did that!”—then turns the page excited to draw again.
