Adam Johnson (also known as Adam Ceramic) is a potter from Brighton in the U.K who champions making ceramics accessible for everyone. He started ceramics after a car accident left him in a wheelchair. Making pottery by hand was a victory he could achieve each day while recovering. This has led to focusing on making at home rather than studios and he's one of the first to highlight the technique off microwave firings. Showing people how he fires his own pottery with affordable microwave kilns in minutes. Together with hand-built clay techniques or using small pottery wheels and microwave firings, pieces can be made from start to finish at home by beginners.
