Dr Dave Rempel

Dr. Dave Rempel is a Professor of Social Work at a private university in Germany. He holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Winnipeg, where he focused his undergraduate studies on children’s literature.

A lifelong storyteller, Dr. Rempel has a particular passion for children's narratives and has found great joy in exploring the creative expressions of neurodiversity in young people. Encouraged by his own children—who spent years urging him to document the imaginative tales he improvised at bedtime—he is now transitioning his long-held dreams into reality. His stories are deeply rooted in personal history, drawing inspiration from his family, friends, and the various pets and farm animals he encountered while growing up. He lives near Nuremberg, Germany with his wife. His grown daughters live close by.
