Thomas L. Goodman

Following a rewarding career as an oncologist/hematologist, Thomas Goodman published his first novel, “The Bookie’s Daughter,” in 2024. It’s the heroic story of a young woman physician/scientist who discovers the cure for cancer. “The Road from Odessa,” his second novel, tells the stories of young Moishie Stein, his father, and grandfather, a Jewish Russian mafia boss. They struggle amid family loyalties within the interweaving worlds of jazz and racketeering in Boston, Detroit, Miami, and Upstate New York. Dr. Goodman lives with his wife, Cynthia, in Upstate New York.
