I started writing at an early age beginning with poetry when I was 12 years old. Much of my poetry is added into my paperbacks. My most powerful book is my autobiography, "The Frog On The Wall" which took me 13 years to publish. It is a difficult book to read because it is graphically honest in details of my childhood incest, sexual abuse, domestic violence, and substance abuse. It is a detailed account of survival and controversial social mores of becoming a transgender person. My newest book, "The Spirit of Sobriety" took me 4 years to publish and I believe it is one of the most challenging books for the reader with deep abstract thinking. Mostly because it is a call to accountability and change.
I am near the end of my days at 75 years and legally blind, which played a large part in why it took me 4 years to complete my last book. All 4 of my books are about ways to navigate in a rather messy world. My first book, "Teaching the Way of the Medicine Wheel" and my second book, "Readings of the Medicine Moons" are of Indigenous Native American philosophies and legends. I lived several years twice in my life on reservations, although I was raised in a white neighborhood, in a white foster home from the age of 5 and would not discover my real heritage until years later.
It has been my honor and privilege to experience so many diverse joys and tragedies in my life. I am grateful for every one of them, as it has revealed my true, God ordained purpose in serving my fellow humankind and the creatures of Earth. I am also a retired social worker and ordained minister dedicated to her vocations. When reading one of my books, please keep in mind the very loving and sacred Spirit I intend every reader to experience and receive from me! I hope you are blessed by my efforts with Peace, Love, Light, and Hope!
