Circle Yuen (阮絡伶) is an author and illustrator dedicated to crafting stories that support children navigating family change, emotional well-being, and social transitions. Originally from Hong Kong and now based in the UK, she creates picture books grounded in research and lived experience, offering empathetic and accessible narratives for young readers.

Her debut picture book, Our Dance (Graffeg, 2025), was developed in a pioneering partnership with the UK’s National Association of Child Contact Centres (NACCC). It is highly regarded as an essential resource for schools, libraries, and practitioners specialising in pastoral care and emotional literacy.
Her second self-penned title, Mama’s Wedding (Lantana Publishing, 2026), continues this mission by exploring family restructuring and blended families with sensitivity and honesty, providing children with a sense of belonging and reassurance.
