Abigail Meredith

Abigail Meredith is a young author from rural Arkansas who aspires to reach children of all ages through her works. A huge proponent of agriculture and children's mental health, Abigail began with the Abby's Acres series. This series focuses on hard life lessons and uses the aid of her "farm family" to teach those lessons. She also began The Little Farmer's Collection, a collection that focuses on agriculture education and strives to teach children about the day in and day out of different agricultural jobs. Abigail has had several books that may not fall under those two collections, but are just as near to her heart. Aloura's Odyssey is a chapter book that tells the tale of a young Appalachian girl whose only desire is to be accepted by her mother. The Gobbler of the Wannatalkaturkey Tribe is a light-hearted story based on the folklore of the Ouachita Mountains that Abigail and her husband, Jack, call home. Her books have brought joy and education to hundreds of children all over the United States since 2022 and continue to do so to this day.
